Thought it would be nice to start a subject here to find out what everyone in the Class of 1973 is up to.

Hi Mike,
I believe my brother in law was the class of 73' or 74'. Ken Lamb?
He is deceased now but in 1975 he married my sister Debby Patterson (class of 75'). She is passed away too in 2005.

Hi Kathy.  Ken was a year behind me but I knew him.  He was a nice guy.  I'm sorry about your sister, Debby.  To be honest, I do remember her slightly but we never really associated with each other.  Losing someone close to you can be very painful.  I lost my brother four years ago and things like that we will never get over.  All we can hope is that they are in a very happy and peaceful place now.  Take care.

Mike feel free to invite any TDHS class members over here.
This website address is www.classof77.smfforfree.com

Do you remember a Don Allison? He was 73' or 74'? he was a friend of my brother in law Kenny Lamb.

There is others I remember but can't put a name to their faces... yet!

Hang in there we'll get some more people over here.

Hi Kathy.  I remember a Dave Allison.  He graduated in 1974, also.  It is hard putting names and faces together.  That comes from getting more mature (notice I didn't say older Smiley)

I'm trying to get the word out.  Keep up the great work.

LOL... thanks Mike. I appreciate the word "mature" Wink

The only way I remember Dave Allison was at my 8th grade graduation held at Downey cafeteria.  My  late sister Debby Patterson (class of 75) was a chaperone that night and she MADE him come dance with me... OMG it was my first fast & slow dance with a guy.
I was sooo mad at her for the longest time.

I remember the fast song.. "Smoke on The Water" by Deep Purple. But every now & then if my son is playing music and I hear that "Smoke On THe Water" I think back to the night I was "traumitized" LOL

Yup that was an interesting song to dance to.  I can imagine the feeling of your first dance with someone.  We all went through it.  I still remember some "wild" dances at Downey.  Things used to get a little crazy then.  But they're all good memories.  And I bet Dave was more than happy to dance with you.  Hope you have a great weekend.

Keep Smiling

Mike
